Spring in DC

It seem that after lots of snow and rain Spring has finally arrived to DC. The weather has been unbelievable. according to my friends, and the days have been sunny with blue skies. Unfortunately it seems like the cherry blossoms will not make an appearance this trip...

 Flowers staring to bloom

 Hyacinth and Anemone's bright purples

 Daffodils and Summer Snowflakes

Spring, Washingtonians welcome you with open arms!

  11. Daffodils are the best! I've never seen a Summer Snowflake before though - it's really pretty, but I'm pretty sure we don't have them in South Africa. Your stationery is BEAUTIFUL by the way!

  12. Beautiful images of spring flowers in DC. Quite a few years ago, after a brutal winter in Boston, my husband and I went to visit his cousin in Georgetown.......and we fell in love....the warmth, the first spring flowers, the architecture....on the spot we decided to move to Georgetown, called our realtor, put up our house for sale, rented a temporary house and really enjoyed living there for a few years....career and work had me move to new york. Still miss Spring in DC to this day!!!
