Stormy Friday!

And it keeps on raining in Miami which makes me feel pretty bad for those who came here to visit and haven't had a time to do anything. On the other hand I'm pretty happy the week is over and the weekend is here which means that I can be a little lazy {and not feel guilty} and definitely weekend brunch is popping on my mind...

I rarely ever talk about anything controversial but this week I have to say I'm amazed by the Casey Anthony case. I don't think I could ever sentence someone to the death penalty but I do think she deserved to be put away for being a pathological liar and for ending the life of her daughter... all I can say is that girl has some serious Karma coming to get there and it won't be pretty!

Here are these week's links:

Have a great weekend!!!

  2. Have a wonderful weekend {and brunch}! I tried not to follow that case because it sickened me, but I agree--I can't think of a fate worse than being her.

  4. I am amazed and saddened by that case too... Can't believe it.

    Happy weekend.

  5. I was saddened, but not surprised-while it's clear she has lied repeatedly about a horrifying series of events, it didn't seem like anyone had proven she had committed the crime beyond a shadow of a doubt. That said, I certainly think her karmic comeuppance are coming!

Enjoy the weekend, and a delicious brunch!

  6. I love that photo!
I have to say, I'm surprised by the Casey Anthony case as well. She really deserved to go to jail and I'm shocked she didn't. It's unfortunate she's going to get away with this. :\

  13. I hope the weather holds out for your weekend. I was also amazed by the outcome of that Casey girl. Although having said that... sometimes the media only tells you what you want to hear to make the news story more exciting.

  24. Amen. Makes me mad that people can get away with murder. I hate how everything is politics and the way the world is ran.
By the way, thanks for visiting my blog and for the birthday wish!

  25. I haven't been following the case, but the circumstances are just unfortunate. And no matter what the punishment, a precious life was lost that will never be replaces.
