Prepping with the Stars

After a long weekend and many hours of prepping and cooking the Cooking with the Stars dinner was a complete success. We started by dividing the workload according to cooking and prep time of each of the dishes to be served.

Fresh oyster mushrooms

All the ingredients we used were fresh and the vast majority locally grown or produced. The meats were all free of hormones and the fish was a Florida snapper. All produce came from somewhere in Florida but mainly it came from the Redlands farms in Homestead.

Grape tomatoes - it took a lot of people to slice those in half

Chef's at work preparing potato cups for hors d'oeuvre and ingredients for salad

Chocolate for the dessert and stack of cutting board ready for action

See you tomorrow with images from the event itself... have a nice one!
