Farewell!

Today I take the red eye {ugh!!!} back to Miami and say "see you later LA" for a while... two trips in two months is a bit much. I did have a fantastic time and enjoyed every single minute of it!

I got to spend some time with my super talented sister and went to the wedding of a very good friend of mine {one of the reasons why I came!}. The wedding was very interesting because: it was 500 people and they were Persian Jewish. There was tons of dancing and those delicious Persian candies that you want to just eat and never stop.

As always, food was amazing and got to visit some of my favorite cafes and restaurants with my amazing friends. I visited some of the farmer's markets and was so jealous of the people who live in places where there is a wide variety of ingredients {everything is FL is never consumed there}.

I was even able to add to my trip a little bit of culture and art by visiting LACMA. They have lost of works of art of some of my favorite artists {Leichtenstein, Koons} along with a great temporary exhibit called Fashioning Fashion that had clothes form the 1700's to the early 1900's.

It was a great trip and hope to come back... Farewell LA!

  4. Oh my gosh, who doesn't love those Persian candies?? I specifically remember eating to many and getting sick from all the sugar for a whole afternoon.

That wedding sounds amazing! 500 people and half Jewish/Persian. I can imagine how pretty it was.

I hope you have a great day!
