A Soup for All Seasons

I cannot help but notice that many times I talk about certain topics that are very seasonal and many of you don't find the article as helpful as I'd like you to... So, for today I thought of something that I hope helps many of you to stay warm or to cool down!

The first of the Winter soups is a Three Green Soup with Spinach Gremolata. This soup is simple to make and most of the ingredients are readily available either in fresh bunches or already cut/washed bags at your supermarket.

There is nothing that will warm you up faster that a little bit of spice in your food, so this Chipotle Delicata Soup will definitely do the trick. In case you cannot find Delicate {a type of squash} you can subtitute with any other kind as most of them have a similar consistency.

As for those of you {I should include myself as Miami has been pretty warm lately!} enjoying of hot summer days, I thought of a Gazpacho with a little variation by adding watermelon. It is a pretty good idea because both fruits have a similar texture and they're flavors compliment each other.

Seafood is always a great addition to any chilled summer soup so this Southern Corn and Shrimp Soup should be a good one for any outdoor party. Add some tomatoes and avocado to add extra flavor and color to this dish.

No meal can be complete without dessert no matter where you are so a creamy Chilled Blueberry Soup would be the perfect healthy final course.

Have a great day and start of the new week!

  36. The three green soup looks exactly like what I just had for lunch in Berlin at a restaurant called Chipps. They called it a green minestrone but it looked like the picture you just posted! Now I can try it. I'm also soup obsessed in the winter.
