Food Branding

It's amazing that I'm still talking about my trip to NY a couple of weeks ago but there was so much to see and do that I'm still amazed at all the images I have to show you still. This trip I was so happy to finally make it to Eataly, the Mario Batali market/restaurant/eatery in Midtown.

Even if you're not a designer you will find how amazingly well all the branding and graphics are done throughout the whole space {which is huge by the way!}. As you make your way through the different sections and the large crowds of people, you always know where you're going because there are signs everywhere that help you find exactly what you're looking for.

My favorite {as always!} is to see the way products are designed to get you and me to buy anything and everything from beer to soap to bottled water and beyond... It was hard not to buy every single thing in there!

Have a great day... and sorry for today's post to come out so late due to technical problems!

  15. Don't you just love a city that offers so much that it takes WEEKS for it all to soak in! I am a city girl at heart but unfortunately have made my home in suburbia... and my boyfriend has a beautiful 20 acre lake house that he wants to move to... which is even further away from the city. But, because he is SO WONDERFUL, I am softening to the idea... Thanks so much for sharing and enjoy the rest of your day. xoxo Jalon

  21. I've never been there but I agree their packaging makes things tempting. I think my favorite part of the restaurant is the moldings at the ceiling!

I totally posted about my trip to the ICFF last may through August so I get the trip leading to weeks of posts. :)

  34. I love Eataly! I'll admit when it first opened, I avoided it as it was always packed. I've picked up some great cheeses there. I hope you were able to try their pasta as it's really good! I'm still dreaming about the dish I had there, and have tried (unsuccessfully) to replicate it at home.

  37. Everything in Eataly is so well thought through. I still want to have lunch at Le Verdure though -- last time I went I grabbed a sandwich because the waits were so long.
