As many of you know, I'm currently splitting my time between the city and the beach where I'm consulting at a beach resort. The resort is the Westin Playa Conchal on the North West coast of Costa Rica or the Guanacaste province.
The hotel is beautiful as it is surrounded by vegetation, a world class golf course, beautiful residential buildings rising up on the hill, and a wildlife refuge where you can find up to 30 different types of birds. One thing that I love is that traveling to other beaches is relatively close and easy to do... maybe I'll stop procrastinating and finally learn how to surf!
The project I'm working on is a lot of fun as I'm working on the hotel's restaurants giving them a facelift and that great beach resort personality.
As much as I consider myself a city girl... I can't say I'm not enjoying this moment. The pace of things is much slower, the sky has a deep blue color, the breaking of the waves is very soothing, and being surrounded by nature is quite refreshing.
