Western Flowers

I've always been inspired by flowers of all kinds and where ever I go I take time to take some pictures of them. Usually I can find roses everywhere, especially on my trips to California but cherry and plum blossoms, magnolias and lilies are always harder to find as they are mostly seasonal.

Magnolia and Pink Rose

Over the weekend I'm planning to join Fairchild Tropical Garden in Miami so I can go and get inspired by their gorgeous gardens and nature inspired exhibits.

 Tropical Lillies and Plum Blossoms

Today I'm leaving you with images of flowers I took at the Rose, Japanese and Chinese Gardens at the Huntington Library.

 Orange Blossom and Pink Rose

P.S. If you live in South Florida or are planning to visit I'd like to invite you to the South Beach Food and Wine Festival next week. There are still some tickets left for the 54 events featuring chefs like Emeril Lagasse, Rachel Ray and Daniel Bouloud. If you can't make it, I'll be working on several events and will bring you photos from the floor and behind the scenes...
