Rocking Walls

I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. I attended a fabulous Blogger Blitz organized by AV from Long Distance Loving... it was a lot of fun and got to meet some amazing bloggers.

Another event happening over the past few days was a presentation of the collection born out of the collaboration between Lenny Kravitz and Italian tile manufacturer LEA Ceramiche. The collection is named Goccia {it means drop in Italian} and is composed of three dimensional wall tiles in black and white.

The shapes of the tiles play with concave and convex forms that reflect light and shadows suggesting continuous movements that resemble those of water recreated in a stylized form.

The simplicity of the colors and textures {matte and glossy} of the collection make the tiles ideal not only for covering wall surfaces of kitchens and bathrooms but also can be used in commercial spaces like offices, hotels and retail stores.

Here is a little video of the man himself talking about the collection...

Have a "Rocking" day!
