The Feel

The largest organ in our body is our skin and we have to take very care of it. No matter where you are and what season you are experiencing there are some important things you should do to keep it in top shape!

Wash you face in the morning because oils and bacteria accumulate in there during the night; then wash it again before going to bed to take off your make up and get rid of all the residue left there by the elements. The same goes for the rest of your body at least once a day.

Scrub that body entirely! This is the best way to get rid of dead skin cell and promote circulation in your skin. Use either a salt, sugar or other type of scrub all over your body and a gentler one for your face... I personally use an exfoliating glove everyday, a gentle face scrub, and once a week a sugar scrub.

Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!!! All the things your skin is exposed to do major damage that can be repaired or prevented easily. First, make sure you wear a moisturizer that contains SPF even if you are just planning to stay home {your computer screen emits UV rays!}. At night after you was your face apply a face cream that takes care of it while you sleep.

Have a great and beautiful day!

  1. Can you believe I don't wash my face at night? It's one of the things I know I have to do since becoming an adult... ten years ago. HAHA!
Great tips. So true. I moisturize like crazy.

  10. I still cannot understand how some people do not wash their face every morning and every evening. I literally feel horrible if I do not wash my face soon after waking up.

  12. I love salt scrubs. I think they are a bit more heavy duty than sugar which is just what I need with all the changes in weather.

  16. i don't recommend weekly exfoliation if you have acne-prone skin or keratosis pilaris. too much can exacerbate skin. gotta love a sugar scrub! Stop by ElleSees & enter my Travalo giveaway!

  17. I need to exfoliate more. I go in spurts where I do it a lot and then I just stop.

  18. These are great tips. I never get the exfoliation thing down right. Either I don't do it at all or I over-do it and my skin gets really dry. I need to find that balance!

  19. I just recently learned how much exfoliation helps your skin! I do it all the time now and you are so right that moisturizing is key! Happy weekend!
