On Blogging

I started blogging in mid 2009 at my sister's suggestions to promote a little stationary business I had {eventually stopped because of the time I needed for my Masters} and despite of that I never stopped, and continued doing it because I liked the connections I made with people who were doing the same thing.

Since then I've had the pleasure and privilege to meet amazing bloggers that otherwise I would have never crossed paths with... and that's one of the reasons why still do it. Blogging takes a huge chunk of my day and I enjoy it because of the lives I touch with the things I talk about {I learn a lot through it too!}.

Last week, Mademoiselle Poirot talked about being approached by someone who was only looking to increase her readership numbers {check out her post HERE}. After going through my weekend messages, I saw that I was approached by the same person who left the exact same comment on my blog as she did on Poirot's blog... I felt as upset as she did, because this person didn't even bother to read what we had posted that day.

It's OK not to find interesting all the time what a blogger talks about because we all have different lives, and it's OK not to leave a message everyday. But despite of that, there are people out there who spend a good deal of time trying to make things interesting and they deserve respect just because of that.

If you are new to this blog, please take your time to get to know what this space is all about. If you have been here before, thanks for coming back and hope you're enjoying it. If I've meet you in person, thanks for your time and hope I get to see you real soon {special tanks to Brandi, Dawn, Tamra, Hope, Audrey, Mary Jo}.

I vote for keep blogging fun, interesting, and friendly. I ask to please forget about your numbers and concentrate on quality. I promise to be a good blogger, work on entertaining you, and to treat you as I want you to treat me. I apologize if I have eve made you feel the opposite. We are a pretty nice community and I hope we can keep it that way.

Have a lovely day and once again thanks!
