Nature and Food

You would think nature and food is a redundant concept but not so much these days. With so much food available to us, it is very important to make sure what we're eating comes from natural sources and it's not loaded with preservatives and chemicals.

When buying your food, check out the ingredients and if you find on the list something you cannot spell or read it might not be good for you. The same goes for anything processed or artificial, because food has gone through a process of changing its chemical composition or has been created at a lab {like some ice creams made with artificial flavors}.

What we eat goes into our whole system, and when we eat something that is not natural it affects our body's ability to break it down and dispose of it. It is believed that women pass on to their babies all these harmful elements in food when their pregnant or during lactation.

Make sure to enjoy fresh foods, especially those of you who live in places where what you eat is dictated by the change of seasons.

Have a great day!

  2. I agree completely! People eat too much fast food full of sugars and salts they don't need. It's very important to know what is in your food. Loved this. Have a great day doll xx

  5. I really want to try to eat more local foods. I also need to know what foods are in season and what aren't, as I've grown up just eating everything no matter the season. Very inspiring post, friend!

  6. Saw your comment lovely...I agree with you..I've never had the blogging problem...have always just posted what I wanted..but I've seen a lot of people get caught up in trying to fit in, sad really. Blogs should be about oneself and what you like, anyone who tries to make someone feel otherwise should just keep it to themselves, haha! Hope you are well :) xx

  11. It would be really nice to live in a place where fresh fruits were available year round. I just finished reading a book about olive oil and how extra virgin olive oil is usually mislabeled on purpose. I think you might find it interesting and perhaps you have already heard about it. If you want me to find the whole title and author let me know, but I think the short title is called Extra Virginity.
