Road Trip

Yesterday I drove back to the beach and have to say I'm becoming some sort of professional at it... ha! I prepare the night before for a 3.5 to 4 hour drive which makes it very important to plan how am I going to spend the time while driving.

The first thing I make sure is ready are snacks and drinks as I rarely ever find anything tasty or healthy at the rest stops. I make sure I have a drink {usually iced tea prepared at home} in an easy to drink from bottle and salty and sweet snacks... for variety reasons!

Good music is a must and certainly something I can sing to, especially because no one can hear me... ha! The music has to be fun and vibrant but I also put some classic ballads on my playlist, just because they are so good.

I keep money for the toll ready, a GPS to let me know my time of arrival, comfy shoes, sun glasses {or seeing glasses} and my handbag easy to reach in case I need to get something out of it. If you're taking a road trip in the near future, take some time to plan your luggage, food and drinks, and all your support material to make it a truly enjoyable one.

Have a great day!
