Cold Relief

Over the past couple of weeks I've been relaxing in Miami, a place I like to think of as my safe haven. Though it's been lovely being here this past few days, I am mostly relieved that I'm nowhere near the crazy frigid weather in the north.

For those of you who have been escaping the craziness I want for you to close your eyes and imagine the turquoise color of the Atlantic, the warm sun on your skin, the sand in between your toes and the soft breaking of the waves.

After a day at the beach, imagine walking to a nice outdoor restaurant, sitting under an umbrella and sipping a sweet minty mojito. While you're at the restaurant, you're enjoying the scenery and "people watching".

Finally, if it makes you feel better, the weather has been unseasonably cold here as well. Since it was not freezer cold, for me it was the perfect excuse to spend time relaxing and catching up on some reading.

For those of you slowly warming up, I wish that the sun finally brings you some relief. For those enjoying of your summer, I hope you are enjoying of a well deserved mojito.

Have a lovely day!
